{Updates} style me chic
June 24th, 2011 | Category: news, sharing, vintage, wedding decor, wedding ideasFor ‘ better or worse’ should not be a phrase used in connection with the design of your wedding or anything wedding-related. And with the ever-growing amount of services available to couples looking to get hitched, it can be difficult to get someone to match your vision of how your wedding should look like.
We’re introducing a brand new styling service that wants to help you put together the perfect look for your wedding, photo shoot or special occasion. The theme is entirely of your choice, from romantic to vintage, rustic to shabby chic, casual to formal – we can find the ideal style for you through the use of quirky and unique props. Our vintage-inspired props – cake stands, furniture pieces, birdcage, parasols and crockery – can be used in a variety of different ways at dessert tables, drink receptions, guest book corners, photo or lounge areas. The ideas are limitless! Whether you require an interior look for your wedding reception or a fashion photo shoot for you and your significant other we are in collaboration with some wonderfully versatile vendors that are as excited as we are about our ‘Styling Hire’ service.
In a nutshell, our two-pronged design service – professional styling and prop hire – can help you create a setting that is the personification of everything you adore and also ensure the that your special occasions have the perfect look that you can look back on with fond memories.
As always, spread the love. xx

{Be Inspired} take me outside
February 22nd, 2011 | Category: eco-friendly, inspirations, wedding ideasI truly love indoor-out style decor setting. It’s like bringing your cozy home outdoors and it’s a great concept to use for a house wedding especially those with a big garden or patio.

{Love} Type me a wish!
February 14th, 2011 | Category: inspirations, vintage, wedding decor, wedding ideasI’m currently so in love with vintage typewriters (especially the pink ones) and am on the hunt for one. Forget about the typical boring guest book album; one of the best ways to show off your creativity at your wedding is to get your guests to type their well wishes or marriage advise to the couple. In fact, you can even use it as wedding decor!

Not only are they affordable and easy to DIY (afterall you need mostly paper) ; also a versatile and cheery decorations for both special events or weddings. February 5th, 2011 | Category: inspirationsYear of the Rabbit!
January 26th, 2011 | Category: culture, inspirationsI can’t believe Chinese New Year is just around the corner. It felt like only days that we just recovered from the Xmas & New Year gastronomic festivities and food coma.
Having hopped to 6 shopping malls in my neighbourhood and near my work place, I was kind of disappointed at this year’s decor selection was not as creative as last year. It some how lacked the Oomph! Oh well, that hasn’t stopped me from getting into the holiday mood and getting the house ready for the Year of the Rabbit!
Managed to dig some nice vintage flasks from my mum’s place and experimented with some artificial flowers on possible decorations for our condo. I think I might just leave it for the whole year as it looks so cheerful, don’t you think?
